The lecture "Soul Paralysis. On Foolishness in Life and Spirituality"

We associate stupidity with a deficiency of reason, a lack of savvy, or an inability to recognize the essence of things. We try to "diagnose" it using intelligence quotient tests. Science has also produced lists of "types of stupidity." But is such a definition sufficient? What is it in reality? Can intellectual development keep us from falling into the snare of stupidity? What can we say about stupidity from a spiritual point of view?

Wobec tych i podobnych pytań staniemy podczas kolejnego wykładu z cyklu „Duchowość dla Warszawy”, organizowanego przez Akademię Katolicką w Warszawie we współpracy z Narodowym Instytutem Kultury i Dziedzictwa Wsi. Wykład zatytułowany „Paraliż duszy. O głupocie w życiu i duchowości” wygłosi o. dr hab. Tomasz Gałuszka OP, prof. UPJPII.

The lecture will be held on February 20 (Thursday) at 7 pm in the auditorium of the National Institute for Rural Culture and Heritage (former Central Agricultural Library, 66 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street). Admission is free.
