Architectural accessibility
There are two entrances to the building:
- Main entrance - is not adapted to the needs of people with mobility disabilities, including people who use a wheelchair, blind or visually impaired,
The building can be reached:
- independently:
- Parking is available on Podwale Street or near Krakowskie Przedmieście Street, in the paid parking zone,
- Parking is available in the courtyard (at the back of the NIKiDW headquarters). It is possible to park free of charge after notifying sekretariat@nikidw.edu.pl.
- By means of public transportation:
- Access by public transport bus: stop Plac Zamkowy (01, 02), 116, 503, 180, 518, 175, 128,
- access by streetcar: stop Old Town (01, 02): 26, 4, 13, 20, 23,
- Access by metro: stop Metro Arsenal.
There is a security post in the main lobby - an opportunity to provide information to people with disabilities.
You can enter the building with an assistance dog, a guide dog, or an attendant.
W Narodowym Instytucie Kultury i Dziedzictwa Wsi obowiązuje zasada, że pracownicy odbierają umówionych gości z posterunku ochrony.
Goście wchodzący na teren Narodowego Instytutu Kultury i Dziedzictwa Wsi są wpisywani do książki wejść przez pracownika ochrony.
