Events

The National Institute for Rural Culture and Heritage organizes many events to promote folk culture. It opens its season in early spring with Women's Day for Folk. Usually starting in May, it launches its "Summer Scene" series, which presents the folklore of various regions of Poland. In autumn, it invites to the European Heritage Days, the Warsaw Bread Festival and the Independence Day. The series of outdoor events concludes with the extremely colorful Christmas Fair. The Institute is a co-organizer or partner of many festivals, fairs and reviews where authentic traditional culture is presented.

The All-Poland Association of Braiders and Wicker Makers invites you to the All-Poland Conference entitled: "The braiding tradition on its way to the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Cooperation of braiders with science".

The call for applications for the "Language Diversity" grant program has started

The program is an endeavor of the newly established Institute for Linguistic Diversity of the Republic. It is the first state tool for financial support of projects focused on linguistic diversity. Applications for up to PLN 80,000 can be submitted until March 10, 2025.
