Ms. Maria presented the participants with patterns of Kittie embroidery and many everyday household items on which Kittie motifs can be applied - umbrellas, shoes, earrings, doilies and wall decorations. Characteristic of these motifs is the use of floral colors in particular flowers. With the materials prepared, the ladies of the kgw were able to embroider scarves and doilies.
In keeping with the tradition of singing at work, the workshop was visited by members of the Kocievian band "Burczybas" from Gniew. Workshop participants had the opportunity not only to see, but also to play traditional instruments - the chain and hair burczybas and the devil's fiddle. Prepared songbooks with traditional Kociew songs were taken home by the ladies.
Traditional dishes were not to be missed. Ms. Magdalena Potulska prepared ruchanki with fjut for everyone. Kocievian fjut is a traditional syrup based on sugar and buttermilk, entered on the List of Traditional Products in 2023. In addition, fjut is a winner of the "Our Culinary Heritage - Flavors of the Region" competition.
