The impact of the implementation of the new Alma library system on the way it catalogs and on the visibility of bibliographic records on the Institute's home page and in the National Library's combined catalogs was discussed.
The director of the Institute informed the attendees of the planned launch of a book sharing service at the Warsaw location. She also hinted at the possibility of transferring to the warehouse in Warsaw some of the books in the field of rural culture, selected from the rich collection of the Michal Oczapowski Central Agricultural Library's Puławy Branch. The head of the Library in Pulawy presented the current activities of the Library, which are aimed at increasing its visibility among a significantly larger group of users. The Council presented its opinions on the solutions and proposals presented.
At the end of the meeting, the Director of the Institute thanked the members of the Library Council and the entire Library community for their commitment to the better functioning of the Michal Oczapowski Central Agricultural Library, NIKiDW Branch in Puławy.
