Mr. Krzysztof Pieronek is a traditional tailor known and respected in the Polish Upper Orava - a land adjacent to the southern slopes of Pilsko and Babia Góra. He makes customary Orava clothing - for men and women. He specializes in sewing breeches, cuchs, guni, but also makes horse shoes, headbands and women's corsets and skirts.
She looks for inspiration for her work in the archival collections of ethnographic museums, and also consults ethnologists from the Museum - Orava Ethnographic Park in Zubrzyca Górna. He also has a rich collection of old-fashioned Orava clothing and his own photographic archive.
W ramach Stypendium dla Twórców Ludowych Narodowego Instytutu Kultury i Dziedzictwa Wsi wykonał gunie, cuchy i kabot – elementy wierzchniego stroju orawskiego – którymi obdarował trójkę swoich przyjaciół. W przerwach od szycia grywa na skrzypcach i maluje na szkle.
