Every year crowds of pilgrims go to Jasna Gora to entrust their intentions to the Mother of God and to thank her for her protection and intercession. For many of them it is not only an extraordinary spiritual experience, but also an opportunity to establish new relationships, test their own endurance, and find their way in life.
It was precisely such themes that dominated the submitted competition works. Most people emphasized that the walking pilgrimage to Jasna Gora played a very important role in their lives. From an early age, my dream and great desire was to go with others to Jasna Gora. My heart longed for a closer relationship with God, new friendships and to face my own limitations. Finally, in 2016, I realized my goal and discovered what is the magnet that attracts thousands of people to Jasna Gora every year," wrote one of the participants of the Contest.
The Competition received 39 works, the Commission evaluated them in accordance with the assumptions of the Regulations, taking into account their composition, grammatical, linguistic, spelling and stylistic correctness, clarity of style, quality of literary form and creativity in the presentation of a given topic, awarding them an appropriate number of points. After summing up the scores of individual members and a detailed analysis of each work, the Commission decided to award:
First prize in the amount of PLN 3000:

Second prizes in the amount of PLN 2000:

Third prizes in the amount of PLN 1000:
