The event was to commemorate Anna Vasa, sister of King Sigismund III Vasa, who played an important role in the life of the city and contributed to the development of herbalism. Thanks to the royal's financial support, the first Polish herbarium was published in 1613. She was interested not only in botany but also in theology and history. As Starosta of Golub, Anna Wazowna also exercised patronage over many artists. On her initiative, the Golub castle was rebuilt, which turned into her residence and is still an architectural gem in the Chelmno region.
The fair was a unique opportunity to experience traditional handicrafts, traditional music and to purchase handmade foods and decorations. There were also herbalists. In addition, for children, there was a workshop with a folk artist - they could make their own bookmark with a painted Kuyavian pattern from the famous Wloclawek faience.
Bands from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region performing traditional folk songs and melodies appeared on stage: Chełmno Band from Chełmno, Agregandado and Fiddlers of the Brave from Toruń, and the Piekielnica band from Biskupin.
