The XI Festival of Rural Theatres WINDOWS.
The 11th edition of ZWYKI - the presentation at the A. Szyfman Polish Theater of shows from the rural theater trend - is coming up. In the year that is ending, nearly 40 groups performed on Sejmik stages - stagings of rituals, customs, domestic and field work prevailed. This year, on November 29 and 30, three performances will be shown.
Interview with Karolina Radulska, a weaver, who creates in Janow's two-weaving center
Two-weave fabric has accompanied Karolina Radulska since she was very young. In her family home, weaving was done by her grandmother, Aurelia Majewska. She herself learned to weave from her mother-in-law, Danuta Radulska. For her, this is a way of preserving the weaving traditions passed down from generation to generation.
