Hunting season is about to begin....

Hubertus is a festival of hunters, held at the beginning of the autumn-winter season. In Poland, the cult of St. Hubert dates back to the 18th century. During the Second Republic of Poland, Hubertus hunts were held in Spala, and were initiated by President Ignacy Moscicki. To this day, in the Polish hunting tradition, so-called "hubertowins" are organized on November 3, i.e. collective hunts of a particularly solemn character, with the preservation of historical patterns and ceremonies.
All Saints and All Souls - the history of the holiday

All Saints' Day was established in 835 by Pope John XI in honor of deceased saints. All Souls' Day, on the other hand, appeared on the liturgical calendar more than a century later - in 998. - thanks to the Benedictine abbot of the Abbey of Cluny, later Saint Odilon.
