Saturday workshop for KGWs from the Dobrzyń Region

For the sixth time this year, a handicraft workshop for KGWs from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region was held on November 9. In Radziki Duży (Wąpielsk commune, Rypin county), KGW members from the Dobrinland region not only made tissue paper flowers, but also sang traditional songs in full voice.

History session on the occasion of the restoration of independence

On November 7 at 12 o'clock in the Congress Hall in Pulawy a Historical Session was held on the occasion of Poland's regaining independence. The session began with a patriotic concert performed by students of the Romuald Twardowski State Music School of the First Degree.

November 11 - a celebration of joy and freedom

November 11 was introduced into the official calendar of national holidays on the basis of the Act of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland of April 23, 1937, which stated that, "the anniversary of the regaining of independent state existence by the Polish people and as a day for all time associated with the great name of Jozef Pilsudski, the victorious Commander-in-Chief in the struggle for the freedom of the Fatherland - is a solemn Independence Day."
