We would like to invite you to the finals of the 9th edition of the "Battle of the Regions" Culinary Competition for Rural Housewives' Circles, which will be held on September 22, 2024 at St. Adalbert's Square in Gniezno. Rural housewives' circles from all over Poland - 16 finalists - will compete for the title of best regional dish.
Folk Culture Day in Valenchow
A day of folk culture organized by NIKiDW and Opatów Municipality took place on September 7 on the field near the elementary school in Waleńczów. The event was aimed at popularizing the culture of the Czestochowa and Wielunska regions among the residents of the municipality.

REMINDER! The 4th national film contest "The world revolves around the countryside" organized by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development is underway. Partners in organizing the competition are the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture and the National Center for Agricultural Support.
The 2024 Oskar Kolberg Award Gala is coming up!
For the forty-ninth time, the Oskar Kolberg Award "For Merits to Folk Culture" will be presented to artists of music and dance, fine arts, handicrafts and folk writing. Honorable mentions will also be given to ethnographers and folklorists, as well as institutions that disseminate traditional culture.
The gala will take place on September 12 at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
