Summer is a true paradise for fruit lovers. Strawberries, raspberries, cherries, cherries, plums, gooseberries, currants, apples, pears pile up on the stalls, encouraging people to buy them. It's worth the temptation, because they contain plenty of vitamins and nutrients, and at the same time are very tasty and can be used in many ways. On July 1 we celebrated International Fruit Day.
Last workshop for KGWs in Kuyavia
This was the last meeting in the series of Handicraft Workshops for KGWs from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship. On November 16 this year, in Klopot (Inowrocław commune), KGW members from Kujawy became acquainted with Kujawy embroidery and traditional songs from the area.

Country gardens - a tradition worth remembering
Gardens by the house full of multicolored flowers, aromatic herbs, trees and shrubs for most of us are associated with the idyllic countryside. In the past they were not only a place for relaxation, but also had an important utilitarian function providing basic food products. They were the showcase of the house and its hosts. Nowadays, traditional rural home gardens have lost their popularity. They have been replaced by smoothly trimmed lawns with precisely placed shrubs. This is a pity, because it is an important element of Polish tradition and culture that is worth reviving.
